  Who We Are:
The Glen Ellyn Woman's Club is a philanthropic group comprised of women  interested in  educational programs, friendship, raising
money for scholarships and philanthropic endeavors at the community and local

level.

SCHOLARSHIPS:
Each year,
our largest philanthropy is college scholarships awarded to a student graduating from Glenbard West and one from
 Glenbard South.

2024 Glenbard Students Win GEWC Scholarships

The Glen Ellyn Woman's Club is pleased to announce that they have awarded two $3,000 scholarships to Glen Ellyn high school graduating students.

Emma Pekkarinen, from Glenbard South, and Annika Bhagwakar, from Glenbard West, are this years recipients.  Both young women were selected for this honor because of their outstanding community service efforts both on campus and in the village during their high school careers.
Emma has her heart set on being a teacher and attending either the University of Illinois or Illinois State.  Annika has her sights set on attending Georgia Institute of Technology to pursue a career as an industrial design engineer.

Emma and Annika graciously thanked the Glen Ellyn Woman's Club (GEWC) for their support in helping to further their educations.
